Wabi Sabi Ornaments

Celebrating the Japanese art of Kintsugi
Ornaments can be so fragile and often break. Why not celebrate the beauty of the broken, that has been lovingly and beautifully repaired.
The Japanese craftsmanship has chosen various techniques of pottery to bring about the spirit of Wabi-sabi. The art of “kintsugi” is a classic example for such a technique, where broken pottery is repaired by re-joining the pieces back together and applying a lacquer mixed with powdered gold, platinum, or silver along the cracks. The end result is a beautifully restored, one-of-a-kind piece of art transforming its own cracks into charming seams of gold gleams.
These custom Wabi Sabi ceramic ornaments are definitely one of a kind!

Dropped from a height, I will re-join the pieces of your ornament creating a truly unique design, embelish with gold,  It requires focus and delicate handling, but the end result is a beautiful and unique ornament.
