Lush gardens, majestic landscapes, and serene seascapes have always been a source of inspiration in my image making. Combining traditional photography methods with contemporary techniques enables me to record and reinterpret the worls around me. I work on an intuitive level without a predetermined image in mind, and comsider an image successful when it is transformed beyond the reality of the camera into a personal connection with nature. Sandi Daniel is a regional and national award winning artist. Her work has been shown in museums, galleries as well as academic universities, including St.Joseph’s University, the Hecksher Museum Bienniel, the Steinberg Museum of Art at Hillwood, and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. Sandi Daniel is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she received a bachelor of science in Zoology and Hallmark Institute of Photography where she studied commercial photography. Although her work is constantly changing in theme and technique there is a distinctive sensibility that runs throughout her imagery. |
