Tribeca Alley captures one of the city's narrow canyons. An ink drawing I made when I was in grad school at a wonderful time in my life. I would walk down this alley often at lunchtime on my way to buy supplies at Pearl Paint. As I entered the Alley and made my way down the cobble stone street, sandwiched between old rusty fire escapes, the noise of the city quietened. It felt like I had stepped back in time to experience a glimpse of what New York had been like a century earlier.
