Candy Floss Clouds III Is a favorite of mine from this new work. It has really been fun to paint so freely with thick juicy oil paint. This series have all been painted in one short session, wet on wet, no going back into it later or fussing. just let it be what it was in the moment I painted it.

Twilight Storm, 8x10in
Twilight Storm is a composition in shades of blue. Painted from my reference photos taken during an evening beach walk early July. A dramatic sky makes painting such a joyful and exciting process, as I interpret the clouds to express the mood and the memory of that moment. Whilst also bringing something new, accidental, intuitive to the work.
